The MEF raises funds to provide grants to Metuchen Public School educators so YOU can enhance the curriculum with YOUR innovative ideas and special projects that are not otherwise provided for in the school budget.  Please note that we do not approve grants to cover the cost of field trips. 

How to Apply?

1. Dream up an innovative idea or special project. Check out our past awarded grants here. Not sure if your idea fits within our mission? Please email us and we'll be happy to chat with you!

2. Download and complete the 3 page grant application.

   • Open the grant application. 

   • Save it to your computer as a PDF.   

   • Do NOT open it through Google Drive or the application will not load correctly. 

   • Once you've downloaded it to your computer as a PDF, you'll be able to rename it and fill in the fields. 

   • Make sure to get all necessary approvals from your school administration before submitting your application to us.  

3. Email your application and any questions to info@mef08840.org.  Applications are accepted September to April. You should receive an email from us within 1-2 days confirming receipt of your application.
